What is the probability of choosing a red chip from a bag containing 3 red, 2 blue, and 5 yellow chips?

So first you have to add all of those together. So it would all add up to 10. Then you you take how many red chips (3) and put it on top of the fraction to say that there are 3 red chips in a bag of 10 (3/10) then if it has to be a percent, you divide it so 3 divided by 10 is 0.3. But then you move the decimal over 2 places to the right so it would be a 30% chance you would pull a red chip from the bag.
