Given:

Consider the exponential model is:

[tex]y=575(1.93)^x[/tex]

To find:

The growth factor.

Solution:

The general form of an exponential model is:

[tex]y=ab^x[/tex]               ...(i)

Where, a is the initial value and b is the growth factor.

We have,

[tex]y=575(1.93)^x[/tex]            ...(ii)

On comparing (i) and (ii), we get

[tex]a=575[/tex]

[tex]b=1.93[/tex]

Therefore, the growth factor is 1.93.
