2x-3y+6=0 has an x intercept of 2 and a y intercept of -3.

That means the 2 sides of the right triangle are 2 and -3

Area of triangle= 1/2×base×height

                         = 1/2×-3×2

                         =-3

∴ Area of the triangle=-3
