For there to be an equal number of atoms, there must be an equal number of moles.

Moles = mass / Mr

Moles of Sulfur = 32.066 / 32.066
= 1 mole

Mass of one mole of vanadium = 50.942 grams

50.942 grams of vanadium will contain the same number of atoms as 32.066 grams of sulfur.
