Simple...

you have: 12x+4y=24

To find the slope..you must first re-write in y=mx+b form-->>Where m is the slope...

12x+4y=24

12x+4y=24
-12x        -12x

4y=-12x+24

Now simply divide by 4-->>>

4y=-12x+24

[tex] \frac{4y}{4} = \frac{-12x+24}{4} [/tex]

y=-3x+6

As we can see the slope is -3(x)-->>

Thus, your answer.
