Answer:

The ability of chlorophyl to convert light energy to chemical energy through photosynthesis supports that energy can not be created by the plant (which needed an energy input) and cannot be destroyed (because the plant created glucose which is converted again by consumers to ATP, a different type of chemical energy.)
