J = 8 + 2S ---------(1)

The sum of their ages is less than 32.

The 2nd equation will be :

J + S < 32  ----------------(2)

Now rearrange both equations :

3S < 32 - 8

3S < 24

S < 24/3

S < 8

S = 7

The age of Sue I think will be 7 years.
