Example:
a * -b = -48
a + -b = -2

In order to make a multiplied negative, you need to make one number a negative number and the other positive. So, for the first one, it would be: [tex]-8x6=-48[/tex]

Second one would be:

[tex]0+-2=-2[/tex]
