We know that:

I = mΔv = F · t

We are given that:

Δv = 2 m/s

m = 1,500 kg

F = 600 N

Solve for t:

mΔv = Ft

mΔv/F = t

Plug in values:

(1,500)(2)/600 = 5 sec
