You can factor it more
Remember: (a^2 - b^2) = (a-b)(a+b)
(x^2 - 36) = (x - 6)(x + 6)
Now plug back to equation

(x - 6)(x + 6)(x + 7) = 0
x - 6 = 0, x = 6
x + 6 = 0, x = -6
x + 7 = 0, x = -7

Solution: x = 6, -6, -7
