Hey there!

(8x - 4) + (-2x + 3)

= 8x - 4 + (-2x) + 3

= 8x - 4 - 2x + 3

COMBINE the LIKE TERMS

= (8x - 2x) - (4 + 3)

= 8x - 2x - 4 + 3

= 6x - 1

Therefore, your answer is: 6x - 1

Good luck on your assignment & enjoy your day!
