- Is the source credible? Is this source self-published (like a blog or Q/A/ forum), is there no author listed, does this organization look like a credible source?
- How old is this source? When was this source published? Does the topic of your paper require a current source or will older publications still be relevant?
It follows from the question above, that the choice of online sources depends on the credibility of the source, the date of publication and the relevance of such publication among a host of other factors.
