The work done is 100 + 15y Joules

How to find the work done

The formula for determining the work done is given as;

Work done = force × distance

We have;

Force = (4x + 3y)

Distance = x = 5.00m

Work done = (4x + 3y) × x

Work done = 4x^ 2 + 3xy

Let's substitute the value of 'x'

Work done = 4 × 5 × 5 + 3 × 5 × y

Work done = 100 + 15y Newton

Thus, the work done is 100 + 15y Joules
