What is graph?

A graph can be defined as a pictorial representation or a diagram that represents data or values.

The point Z is (-3, 4) is translated using the rule

x,y  → (x+2),(y-1)

Then simply plug-in the values of x and y which are x = -3 and y = 4

x,y → ((-3) +2), (4 -1)  which is (-1, 3)

Hence, this is the new coordinate for Z  (-1, 3)
