first find slope
slope=m=(9-6)/(-5-3)
m=-3/8

now equation
(y-9)=-(3/8)*(x+5)
8y-72=-3x-15

The slope is (9-6)/(-5-3) = 3/(-8) = -3/8;
The equation is: y - 6 = (-3/8)(x - 3);
Then: 8y - 48 = (-3)(x - 3);
8y - 48 = - 3x + 9;
8y = -3x + 57;
y = (-3/8)x + 57/8;
