well if 1/16 costs $2 then you do 16*2 to find the cost of 16/16 aka 1 pound. 16*2=32 so the answer is x = 32.

ok i think i got it so he paid $8 dollars for other ingredients so he pain $2 dollars for 1/6th. I think that's how it is if im wrong im sorry
