[tex]\cos^2\theta=1-\dfrac{225}{289}=\dfrac{64}{289}[/tex]

[tex]\cos2\theta=\cos^2\theta-\sin^2\theta[/tex]
[tex]\cos2\theta=\dfrac{64}{289}-\dfrac{225}{289}=-\dfrac{161}{289}[/tex]
