Gametes. They are sex haploids (sperm cells and egg cells) that are contained in gametes. Diploids are the 2n. Keep in mind the sperm cell and egg cell is going to be 1n which is haploid. tetrads and chromosomes don't necessarily connect what we are talking about at this moment. Hope this helps!! :)
