paralell ines have same slope

in ax+by=c
the slope is -a/b

2x-y=-2
-a/b=-2/-1=2
slope is 2

paralell ines have same slope

in form
y-y1=m(x-x1)
that is equation of line passing trhough point (x1,y1) and slope of m
so
slope is 2 and point is (-1,-7)

y-(-7)=2(x-(-1))
y+7=2(x+1)
if want slope intercept or standard form
y+7=2x+2
y=2x-5

standard
5=2x-y
2x-y=5
