Solving rational 9/3=4/x+2

Simplify 9/3 to 3

3 = 4/x + 2

Subtract 2 from both sides

3 - 2 = 4/x

 Simplify 3-2 to 1

1 = 4/x

 Multiply both sides by x

x = 4
