Key members of the community have come to discuss how best to plan and prepare for the event. I would say this is the most appropriate answer as it would most likely result in successful planning of such a big event since key members of the community suggests they would be the people who are most ant aware of the issues in the community and that they have become key members by providing leadership in important community events.
