The ratio of the volumes of similar solids is equal to the cubed scale factor.

Scale factor = 5/3

[tex] \cfrac{V_{larger}}{V_{smaller}}=\left( \frac{5}{3} \right)^3 \ \to \ \\ \\V_{larger}=V_{smaller}*\left( \frac{5}{3} \right)^3 =108* \frac{125}{27}= 4*125=500 \ \ cubic \ inches[/tex]

Hope this helps
