3/4 of 12 = 9

So, 12-9=3

&

1/3 of 6 = 2

So, 6-2=4

3<4

Maria has the most stuffed animals left

To solve:

Amal gave away 3/4, meaning that he had 1/4 left.
Maria gave away 1/3, meaning she had 2/3 left.

Amal: (12)(1/4)=3 stuffed animals left
Maria: (6)(2/3)=4 stuffed animals left

Answer: Maria had the most stuffed animals left.
