I'm taking a guess but I'm not sure if this is correct.
The answer might be the Consumer Protection Act.

Oral Contracts

Its an unspoken agreement between the customer and the seller. That the product that they are purchasing is good. For example if you buy a steak there is an unspoken agreement between both ends that the meat you are purchasing is good and fresh.
