Sales tax is paid when purchasing consumer goods and services. Sales tax also varies slightly by state.

I believe the answer is: Sales Tax.
Sales tax is a percentage cut that taken by the government at the point when the sales happen.
Sales tax usually would be automatically added to the final price of the product and the amount would be allocated to fund government's program.
