We have
[tex]Q(0)=0\\ Q(1)=2\\ Q(2)=4[/tex]
and [tex]Q(n)=Q(n-1)+Q(n-2)+Q(n-3)\mbox{ when } n\ \textgreater \ 2.[/tex]
So
[tex]Q(3)=Q(2)+Q(1)+Q(0)=4+2+0=6\\ Q(4)=Q(3)+Q(2)+Q(1)=6+4+2=12\\ Q(5)=Q(4)+Q(3)+Q(2)=12+6+4=22. [/tex]
