What is the simplified form of the expression?

5(14 - 2)2 ÷ 2

I think you mean this:
[tex] \frac{5(14 - 2)^2}{2} = \frac{5(12)^2}{2}=\frac{5*144}{2}=5*72=360[/tex]

do 14-2 first and then you'd get 12 
12 times 5 and get 60 
2 divided by 2 is 1
