1. 10 g HCl x 1 mol Hcl/36g HCl (molar mass) x 1mol H2O/ 1mol HCl = 0.27mol H2O (Limiting Reactant)
  
    0.27 mol H2O x 18 g H2O/ 1 mol H2O = 4.86 g H2O (Theoretical yield)

2. %yield = actual yield / theoretical yield x 100
               = 3 g / 4. 46 g x 100
               = 62.11 % percent yield
