Firs, simply the equation as much as possible.

7w−(2+w)=2(3w−1)

7w−2-w=2*3w−2*1

6w-2=6w-2

We simplified the equation using valid mathematical operations and we reached to the final equation, which is always true.

we could have also subtracted 6w and added 2 to both sides, and get:

0=0, which is certainly true.

In these cases, the equations have infinitely many solutions, because any value of w, satisfies them.

Answer; infinitely many
