f(x) = 2x²+3x
g(x)= x-2

f(x)+ g(x) =( 2x²+3x ) +(x-2)
= 2x²+3x+x-2
= 2x²+4x-2

(f+g)(2) = 2(2)²+4(2)-2
= 2•4+8-2
= 8+8-2
= 14
