Answer:

We are asked to find all the values of x on the number line that satisfies the given quadratic equation:

[tex]x^2=64[/tex]

We know that this is a quadratic equation so the number of values that we get on the number line is maximum 2.

on taking the square root on both the side of the equation we obtain:

[tex]x=\pm 8[/tex]

Hence we get two points on the number line.

x=8   and x= -8.

These are the discrete values we did not get any interval of the solution.
