Name one bad thing that could happen to a cell if it could not perform exocytosis

The cell membrane would most likely break down and the cell would die. Without exocytosis a cell membrane cannot receive nutrients and protein essential to the strength of the membrane. The cell would not be able to excrete material into the extracellular environment which would be devastating.
