At the Constitutional Convention, how did the Founding Fathers deal with the issue of slavery?

Well, they fought for their rights! They, of course, started the Civil War, but they also let the states deal with it. The states chose whether or not they should have slavery. Though they didn't always agree, they still eventually decided on not keeping slavery.
