1/5 because y=mx+b where m=the slope so in y=1/5x+-b, 1/5 is the slope.

Given that the equation is  [tex]y= \frac{1}{5}x-4 [/tex]
the slope is [tex] \frac{1}{5}[/tex] and the -4 is the intercept or where the line crosses the y- axis
