The slopes m1 and m2 of any two perpendicular lines is given as:

m1 * m2 = -1

Here, say m1 = -2
Then,
m2 = -1/m1
Or m2= -1/-2
Or m2 =2

Thus, the slope of 2nd line will be 2.

The slope of the line would be 1/2 because when u find the perpendicular of a line it’s the opposite by other words if it’s negative it would become positive and if it’s positive it would become negative and u would u have to flip by other words if it’s a half it would become 2
