A polygon has vertices at (4, 1), (4, 7), (10, 7) and (10, 1). How does the perimeter of the polygon change if each coordinate is multiplied by 3?

check the picture below.

multiplying each point by 3, will give us the larger square of (12,3), (13, 21), 30,21) and (30,3).

notice what happened to the perimeter.
