The length of a rectangle is 4 cm longer than its width. if the perimeter of the rectangle is 28 cm , find its area.

If the length is 4cm longer than it's width, then the width would have to be 5. This in turn would allow the perimeter to be 28cm. And hence, 4x5 is 45. There you go.
