What was the human cost of European exploration and colonization? ( The question ask: How were people hurt by the age of exploration?)

The biggest cost and the biggest tragedy was in the number dead as a result of colonization. The colonizing people wanted to impose their will on the colonized people which they naturally didn't like and in many cases rebelled. Even where they didn't in most cases they were forced to do hard jobs and still the death toll was huge.
