Operating
a vehicle in the state of Florida is considered as giving legal consent
to submit to an approved chemical test or
physical test. If the police detain him on suspicion of drunk driving, the police will
normally try to subject him not only to a sobriety test, but also to a
breathalyzer test. Many states have "implied consent" laws,
which means they are considered to have consented to a sobriety test in
exchange for the privilege of driving on the roads or obtaining a license.
