A triangle has a base of 10 inches and a height of 12 inches. What is the area of the triangle?

The area of a triangle is base x height x (1/2)
Plug in the values that are given.
Area = 10 x 12 x (1/2)
Area = 120 x (1/2)

Area = 60 in²
