With that information we can conclude that she spent $70 which $44 of it was spent in a table.
with that information we can create thr equation 2x + 44 = 70
where x is the price of 1 chair
Now that we created our equation we just need to isolate it by subtracting 44 from both sides of the equation:
2x + 44 - 44 = 70 - 44
2x = 26
Now we can divide both sides by 2 and find how much each chair (x) costs
2/2x = 26/2
x = 13
So each chair costs $13
