Break x⁴ into x³ and x¹, watch the step below
[tex] \sqrt[3]{ x^{4} } [/tex]
[tex]= \sqrt[3]{ x^{3+1} } [/tex]

Remember that
[tex] \sqrt{ x^{m+n} } = \sqrt{ x^{m} } \sqrt{ x^{n} } [/tex]

Use the property above to simplify the root
[tex]= \sqrt[3]{ x^{3+1} } [/tex]
[tex]=(\sqrt[3]{ x^{3} })( \sqrt[3]{x^{1}} )[/tex]
= x ∛x

The answer is first option
