The radius of the circle and the tangent to the circle form a right angle so we have a right triangle.
Since our triangle is right we can apply the Pythagorean Theorem to find x.
8^2. =6^2 + x^2
X^2= 64-36
x= sqrt 28= 2 sqrt 7 ~ 5.30
