Given:
Two complementary angles,
for an instance, a is the first angle and b is the second angle
a = b - 64

Solution:
If we add the complementary angles together, the result will be 90°. In algebraic expression, we could write it as:
a + b = 90°

Substitute b - 64 in a to solve the measurement of a
a + b = 90
(b - 64) + b = 90
2b - 64 = 90
2b = 90 + 64
2b = 154
  b = 77

Find the measurement of a, by substitution the value of b, that is 77
a = b - 64
a = 77 - 64
a = 13

The measure of angles
a = 77°
b = 13°
