The equation of a circle is [tex](x-a)^2+(y-b)^2=r^2[/tex] where (a,b) is the center of this circle and "r" is the radius.
[tex]y^2-24y+144 +x^2 +2x +1  = -120+144 +1=25[/tex]
[tex](x+1)^2 + (y-12)^2  =25 =5^2[/tex]
by comparing the previous to equations with the first one, the center will be (1,-12) and the radius is 5.
