So we know that the slope-intercept form of an equation is:


[tex] y=mx+b [/tex]


And we are given the equation: [tex] 2x+3y=6 [/tex]


So we need to subtract 2x from both sides:


[tex] 3y=-2x+6 [/tex]


And then divide both sides by 3:


[tex] y=\frac{-2}{3}x+2 [/tex]
