The equation given to us is [tex] y-3=4(x-5) [/tex]. To convert it into [tex] Ax+By=C [/tex], we will have to rearrange given equation as:

[tex] y-3=4(x-5) [/tex]

[tex] y-3=4x-20 [/tex]

Adding 3 to both sides, we get:

[tex] y=4x-20+3 [/tex]

[tex] y=4x-17 [/tex]

Now, adding 17 to both sides and subtracting y from both sides we get:

[tex] 17=4x-y [/tex]

Or, [tex] 4x-y=17 [/tex]

This is in the required form of Ax+By=C, where, A=4, B=-1 and C=17
