2x2=4+1=5 2 1/2×2=5 5+1 1/4( 1/2 of 2 1/2)=6 1/4

1 cup of flour* (2 1/2 cups of sugar/ 2/5 cup of flour)= 6 1/4 cups of sugar.
(Note that the unit cancels out so you get the answer)
