[tex]65 = 2(d + 1) + 5d[/tex]
[tex]65 = 2d + 2 + 5d[/tex]
[tex]65 = 7d + 2[/tex]
[tex]63 = 7d[/tex]
Finally divide by 7.
[tex]d = 63 \div 7 = 9[/tex]
Hence, the answer is d = 9
