For this case we have the following system of equations:

[tex]y = 2x + 1\\2x-y = 3[/tex]

We cleared "y" of the second equation:

[tex]y = 2x-3[/tex]

Now we equate the equations:

[tex]2x+1=2x-3\\1 = -3[/tex]

Since 1 is not equal to -3 then the system has no solution.

This can also be observed, knowing that the lines are parallel since they have the same slope, [tex]m = 2.[/tex]

Answer:

The system has no solution.
